Community Engagement and Outreach
                                             County Fair Success

In August, the initiative's collaborative project at the County Fair was a resounding success. With support from Marianna Childers and the Breastfeeding Task Force, the 100% Collaborative booth saw participation from over 27 individuals and 20 organizations, showcasing the strong community involvement in the initiative.

Community Gathering in Shiprock

The initiative expanded its reach by holding its quarterly Community Gathering in Shiprock. Dr. Elfreda Harvey of CCSD graciously hosted the event, providing refreshments and creating a welcoming environment. The gathering was well-attended, with representatives from over 14 programs present, ensuring diverse voices were heard
 Outreach and Resource Mapping

Megan Culip, one of the initiative's co-directors, has been actively spreading the word about the 100% San Juan initiative. She presented to the Kiwanis Thursday lunchtime group, broadening awareness of the initiative's goals and activities

Additionally, Culip has initiated a Flow Chart project aimed at improving resource navigation. This project will help guide individuals to the appropriate resources across the county, regardless of their location, streamlining access to vital services[

These activities demonstrate the 100% San Juan initiative's commitment to community engagement, collaboration, and improving access to essential services throughout the county.
