Bloomfield Schools will be opening in a voluntary hybrid model for 7 – 12th grade tentatively on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, pending School Board approval on February 9th (February 15th is a holiday and there will be no school). This time will allow teachers at the secondary level to return to their classrooms and to have the buildings inspected by the Fire Marshal. We fully expect to pass inspections, as all protocols and health requirements are in place. The re-entry plan has been approved by the State Department, and the Response Toolkit for New Mexico’s Public Schools can be found here https://mcusercontent.com/fe07174c30216027e5fab1fde/files/e974b2c2-1167-4a4d-a46a-13a9a8c032b0/NMPED_COVID19ResponseToolkit_PublicSch0121_R3.for01.26.01.pdf
On Wednesday, February 3rd, at 6:00 p.m. we will host a Zoom Informational Session where Secondary Principals will be reviewing what in-person school re-entry will look like at Bloomfield High School, Charlie Y Brown High School and Mesa Alta Jr High School. This is a sharing of information only, and will not be a public forum. Secondary Re-Entry Information Session Zoom Link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84146446199?pwd=RFlpcDE2bEQ4RW10RFJRMEhvTzJpZz09
