Have you been watching  The Early Show with Alax?

In the most recent episode, Alex had the pleasure of interviewing Tara Hughes, the 2023 New Mexico Teacher of the Year, about the incredible benefits of New Mexico PreK for our little ones.

And let's not forget about Alax's mini-show, "Ask Alax!" In the most recent episode, Alax addresses a common concern raised by a mom in Gallup, NM: "I sometimes worry that my son isn't talking as much as his peers." Alex dives into the topic and discovers ECECD's Family Infant Toddler (FIT) program, which provides invaluable support to families who may have similar concerns about their child's development.

You are invited to join a New Mexico Input Session! This input session will provide the opportunity to share your experience delivering early care and education services, beyond the information gathered through the online survey. Questions will focus on program operations and expenses and the true costs of providing care.

When: May 2, 2024 01:00 PM Mountain Time (US and Canada)

Conducting Culturally Responsive Evaluations

Explore general considerations and lessons learned in building culturally responsive evaluation plans. A review of several initiatives will illustrate key considerations that can be applied in evaluating kinship programs. This will include conducting research in partnership with tribal communities under federal grant initiatives using an Indigenous Worldview, and evaluation initiatives designed to address racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity and equity. Our presenters are Network Subject Matter Expert Dr. Angelique Day, Associate Professor, University of Washington School of Social Work, and Dr. Sharonlyn Harrison, CEO of Public Research and Evaluation Services, Inc.
